D12 University Guidance Session

D12 classroom was packed on Wednesday morning for a highly targeted guidance session designed for our D12 students. We were honoured to have Mr. Alex as our keynote speaker, providing an in-depth analysis of the JUPAS system and the Mainland University Admission Scheme for 2026 DSE candidates.

Mr. Alex began by emphasising the importance of “Communication and Planning”, meticulously explaining effective ways to communicate with the HKEAA and various universities. He highlighted crucial yet often overlooked details, such as setting up a Hong Kong phone service and managing email notifications properly.

During the highly anticipated section on “Application Strategies & Timelines”, Mr. Alex masterfully clarified the dual-track processes of JUPAS and Mainland applications. He not only stressed critical deadlines like early December for registration and the modification windows in May and post-results release, but also used relatable analogies to advise students on structuring their choices with “the top 5 for reaching, the rest for safety”. He shared practical tips on how to dynamically adjust choices based on mock exam results.

Finally, Mr. Alex provided a comprehensive “Document Checklist” and analysed the practical weight of interviews and IELTS scores in the application process, helping students prioritize their efforts effectively.

Following the lecture,Mr. Alex was surrounded by students during a vibrant one-on-one Q&A session. Many students commented that the session was “incredibly informative” and “cleared up long-standing confusions”, giving them a much clearer direction and confidence for their applications next year.

周三上午，我们荣幸地为D12同学举办了一场极具针对性的升学指导讲座。本次讲座特邀资深升学顾问Alex老师担任主讲，为同学们深度剖析了 2026届香港“大学联合招生办法（JUPAS）”及“内地高校招收DSE考生计划” 的核心要点与策略。

Alex老师首先以 “沟通与规划” 破题，细致讲解了与香港考评局及各大院校沟通的有效方式，强调了提前开通香港电话服务、妥善管理邮件通知等看似微小却至关重要的细节。

在大家最关注的 “填报策略与时间线” 部分，Alex老师将复杂的JUPAS与内地升学双线流程梳理得清晰明了。他不仅强调了 12月初的账户注册、5月的修改关键期以及 DSE放榜后的最终调整等重要节点，更以生动的比喻提醒同学们志愿填报要 “前五冲刺，后段保底”，并分享了如何根据模拟考试分数动态调整志愿的实用技巧。
