On June 6th and 7th, our school hosted its second annual in-house Model United Nations (MUN) conference, known as PACKMUN. This year’s conference, themed “Navigating Change: Towards a More Inclusive World,” was a remarkable showcase of student leadership, organization, and global awareness.
PACKMUN 2024 was entirely student-led and organized and demonstrated the impressive capabilities and dedication of our student body. The initiative, planning, and execution of the event were managed by a passionate team of students, who ensured that the conference ran smoothly and provided a meaningful experience for all participants.
Throughout the two-day event, students engaged in dynamic debates and discussions, representing various countries and tackling some of the most pressing issues facing our world today. The theme, “Navigating Change: Towards a More Inclusive World,” inspired delegates to consider how societies can evolve to be more inclusive and equitable. Through their research, speeches, and negotiations, students explored topics such as aging population, cultural preservation, and the impact of AI.
The success of PACKMUN 2024 is a testament to the commitment and enthusiasm of our students. Their ability to organize such a professional and impactful event speaks volumes about their skills in leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking. It was an opportunity for them to step into the shoes of global leaders, understand diverse perspectives, and develop solutions to complex problems.
Our school community is incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication shown by all those involved in PACKMUN 2024. The conference not only provided an invaluable educational experience but also highlighted the potential of our students to make a positive impact on the world.
Congratulations to all the participants and organizers for making PACKMUN 2024 a memorable and transformative experience! And, in particular, congratulations to those that led the conference and won awards:
