The Utahloy International School Guangzhou (UISG) is calling on community members and parents to serve as volunteers for its second Career Fair, themed “Life After High School,” on March 26, 2025, from 1:30 to 3:30 PM. This year’s event will feature a combined Career and University Fair component, providing students in Years 9 to 12 with valuable insights into both career pathways and post-secondary education options.
This event follows the remarkable success of last year’s inaugural fair, which engaged students with representatives from 14 diverse industries. Volunteers will have the opportunity to help inspire the future of our students by sharing their expertise and experiences.
Ways to Participate:
- Host a Booth: Represent your industry and engage with students. Bring materials that showcase your profession and career opportunities!
- Join a Panel Discussion: Participate in dynamic conversations designed to inspire and inform students about their future. This year’s panel topics include:
- Careers in a Changing World: Discuss the evolving job market and essential skills for success.
- Turning Failures into Successes: Share personal stories of resilience and the lessons learned from setbacks.
As a token of appreciation, a complimentary lunch will be provided for all volunteers before the event.
Deadline to Register: Please complete your registration as a volunteer by February 10, 2025. For registration details and further information, please refer to the flyer or contact Yein Oh, UISG College & Careers Counselor, at yoh@uisgz.org.
We encourage you to take an active role in this vital initiative. Or if you know someone who would be a perfect volunteer, please help spread the word!
Don’t miss this chance to inspire the next generation and help them plan and succeed in their lives after high school.
