To celebrate the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, UISG organised a diverse range of activities over the four days prior to the holiday. The campus was filled with a vibrant atmosphere and the spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
It was a good opportunity for students to learn about Mid-Autumn Festival culture and enjoy a hands-on experience. Ms. Eva and the canteen staff organised a series of crafting activities for the primary students.
PART.1
lantern-making
This included lantern-making, where students could make their own unique lanterns. They learned how to build a toy from scratch and had fun while doing so.
PART.2
Mooncake Making
Students had the chance to make mooncakes with our master chef. He taught our students how to make a snow skin mooncake, and they diligently followed his demonstrations to create delicious mooncakes step by step.
PART.3
Candy floss Making
Making candy floss was another exciting activity. Students lined up to learn from our canteen staff how to make candy floss with their own design and the colour of their choice.
This event not only allowed the students to truly experience the vibrant atmosphere of the Chinese festival but also enabled them to personally experience the making of traditional food and handicrafts. It provided a great opportunity for them to delve deeper into their understanding of Chinese culture.
On the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival and the approaching National Day, Utahloy International School Guangzhou wishes everyone a happy Mid-Autumn Festival!
