Dear PYP Families,
Weโre thrilled to share some exciting updates from Primary this week!
The first week of school was absolutely buzzing with energy, students returned with big smiles, renewed enthusiasm, and so much excitement to reconnect with friends and begin new adventures.
During our first assembly, we proudly introduced our new Student Council, represented by our enthusiastic Year 5 students, who are ready to support their peers and help shape a positive school culture. We also unveiled two exciting new traditions: Spirit Days, to celebrate school pride and creativity, and Student Awards. More details on both will be coming soon!
This month, our PYP Cobras from K3 to Year 5 will participate in our Sports Bootcamp featuring football, volleyball, and basketball. This program is designed to build skills, teamwork, and a love for movement. This bootcamp will also serve as the gateway to our Extracurricular Activities (ECAs), where students can choose their favorite sport and potentially represent UISZ in Junior Tournaments across Guangzhou.
Beyond the field, our students will also explore creativity through our new Art Workshops: KโK2 students will enjoy Chinese Art integrated with their Mother Tongue lessons, while K3โY5 will engage in Nature Art as part of Forest School, using the natural world as their canvas.
