As the spring breeze warms the air and the battle drums beckon,In March 2026, UISZ held its highly anticipated 2026 DSE Motivation Ceremony. Teachers, students, and parent representatives gathered to witness this solemn and inspiring moment dedicated to youth and dreams.

The ceremony began in a warm and uplifting atmosphere, hosted by Sunny and Linda from D10. With energy and sincerity, they reflected on the students’ journey from enrollment to the present, encouraging everyone to stay confident and brave in the final sprint toward the DSE exams. Their heartfelt words brought a unique warmth and strength to the audience.

Teachers as Wings Guiding Dreams to Fly

Austin Zhang, Head of Secondary (HKDSE) provided a detailed explanation of the 2026 DSE exam schedule and the graduation timeline. Drawing on years of experience, he shared practical advice on mental preparation before the exams, helping students maintain their rhythm and face the challenge with composure.

Following that, Mr. Hio once again emphasized the importance of mental and physical balance, reminding students to maintain healthy routines during the sprint phase. Ms. Scarlett then focused on the upcoming English speaking exam, walking students through the exam procedures, marking criteria, and offering strategic advice on English subject preparation, encouraging them to make the most of the remaining time.

Every word of encouragement from the teachers became a solid pillar of support for the students on their journey ahead.

Fighting Side by Side Living Up to Our Youth

Student representative Sophie Chen delivered a powerful and heartfelt speech, sharing her perseverance and insights throughout the preparation journey, while expressing deep gratitude to her peers, teachers, and parents.“We are not fighting alone—we are chasing our dreams together.”

The audience then watched a D12 retrospective video, featuring familiar scenes that captured a year of hard work and growth. This was followed by a blessing video from all UISZ staff, filling the room with warmth and encouragement—every teacher’s sincere words offered unwavering support to the graduating class.

 Letters from Home Awaiting Your Triumph

In a touching moment, the homeroom teacher stepped forward to share heartfelt words with the students—memories of three years together, hopes for the future, and the simplest yet most powerful promise: “No matter where you go, your teachers will always be here for you.”

The most emotional part of the ceremony was the “Letters from Home” segment—

Students read letters handwritten by their parents—every word filled with love and care. Some teared up, others nodded silently. In that moment, all their efforts were met with the warmest respond. Then, students embraced their parents, creating a deeply moving atmosphere that brought many to tears.

 Leaping Over the Dragon Gate A Sweet Taste of Success

The ceremony culminated in the most anticipated moment—the “Leaping Over the Dragon Gate” ritual.

Hand in hand, students and parents walked through the “Scholar’s Gate”, symbolizing突破 barriers and charging toward the DSE exams with hope and determination.

One by one, students leaped over the Dragon Gate and held high the zongzi (rice dumplings) —a symbol of academic success—wishing themselves: Top scores in the exams, and success at every step!

This was more than a motivation ceremony—it was a declaration of youth and determination.
On the road ahead, students are guided by teachers, supported by parents, and accompanied by peers.

活动在温馨而庄重的氛围中拉开帷幕。来自D10年级的Sunny学弟、Linda学妹担任主持人，他们以饱满的热情回顾了同学们从入学到如今的成长与坚持，勉励大家在最后冲刺阶段坚定信念、勇敢追梦。学弟学妹的真诚祝福，为现场注入了一份特别的温暖与力量。

师者领航 助梦飞翔

张校为同学们详细解读了2026年DSE考试时间表和毕业时间轴，并结合多年经验，分享了考前心态调整的实用建议，帮助同学们稳住节奏、从容应考。

随后，Hio老师再次强调状态调整的重要性，提醒大家在冲刺阶段保持身心健康、合理作息。Scarlett老师则聚焦即将到来的英文口语考试，为同学们梳理考试流程、评分重点，并给出具体的英文科备战建议，鼓励大家抓住最后时间，精准突破。

老师们一字一句的叮嘱，化作学子们前行路上最坚实的后盾。

并肩作战 不负韶华

学生代表Sophie Chen上台发言，字字铿锵，句句真挚。她分享了自己备考路上的坚持与感悟，也表达了对同伴、老师和家长的深深感谢。“我们不是一个人在战斗，我们是一群人在追梦。”

同学们现场阅读父母亲笔写下的家书，一字一句，饱含深情。有人红了眼眶，有人默默点头，那一刻，所有的坚持都有了最温暖的回应。随后，孩子们与家长温情拥抱，现场气氛温馨感人，许多家长和孩子都流下了感动的泪水。

活动最后，迎来了最激动人心的时刻——“跃龙门”仪式。学生与家长手牵着手，共同走过象征胜利与希望的状元门，寓意冲破阻碍、迎战高考。

同学们依次跃过龙门，并高高顶起寓意“高中”的粽子，祝愿自己：金榜题名，步步高升！

这不仅是一场动员仪式，更是一场青春的誓师。
