When Seoul National University issued Kim Chan an unconditional offer, it carried—in Korean’s eyes—the same weight as Oxford or Cambridge. Six years ago, he was a quiet figure in a Year-7 classroom; six years later, he struck the graduation bell as Head Boy.
My name is Janet He, and I am a graduate of the UISZ DSE program for the Class of 2025. I am also a candidate for this year's Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) examination. I chose to take the HKDSE program because I hold a Hong Kong identity card, which allows me to apply to universities in Hong Kong through the JUPAS system. Compared to other international programs, the DSE provides me with a more direct and strategic pathway for further education, especially aimed at my goal of studying in Hong Kong.
As we reach important milestones in our academic year, it is with great pride and joy that we acknowledge the accomplishments of our MYP Year 10 and Diploma Programme (DP) students, who have recently completed their external examinations. This marks a significant achievement in their educational journeys and the beginning of an exciting transition toward new opportunities and challenges.
