We are now three school days away from the Spring Festival and festivities have already started. Meanwhile, we need to highlight that students will be engaged in learning until all buses leave this coming Wednesday at 12:00 pm. We want to congratulate the Year 12, both DP and DSE, who have completed their mock exams, and we are sure that they now have a good idea on their strengths and areas for growth. For our seniors, the Spring Festival is also known as the ultimate moment where they can work on the latter. The marathon to the end of High School is definitively on for them and the whole community is behind them to wish them the best.
距离春节还有3个课堂日，各种庆祝活动已经开始。同时，不得不提的是——在所有校车于下周三中午 12:00 离开之前，同学们都将投入到学习中。 在此，我们要祝贺十二年级的同学们，包括国际文凭大学预科课程以及香港中学文凭课程的同学们，他们已经完成了模拟考，相信他们现在已经对自己的优势以及有待提高之处有了深刻认识。 就高年级的同学而言，春节也被称为他们可以为目标努力的终极时刻。 通往高中终点的马拉松比赛已如箭在弦，我们整个社区一同祝福他们一切顺利。
춘절 축제가 3일 앞으로 다가오면서 축제 준비가 한창입니다. 그러는 와중에도 학생들은 이번 주 수요일 오후 12시에 모든 버스가 출발할 때까지 배움에 매진해야 한다는 점을 강조하고 싶습니다. 모의고사를 마친 DP와 DSE의 12학년 학생들에게 축하의 말을 전하며, 이제 학생들은 자신의 강점과 성장이 필요한 분야에 대해 잘 알고 있을 것이라고 확신합니다. 졸업반 학생들에게 춘절은 마지막까지 노력할 수 있는 중요한 시기이기도 합니다. 이제 고등학교를 졸업하기 위한 마라톤이 시작되었고, 커뮤니티 전체가 학생들의 앞날을 축복하며 최선을 다할 수 있도록 응원하고 있습니다.

February 7 Half-day: Please note that February 7 will be a half day, with buses leaving at 12:00pm. We hope that it will attenuate the inconvenience of travelling during peak hours during this very busy time of the year on the roads. Please note, however, that three lessons will be taking place in the morning with academic content being presented. Attendance is mandatory by all.

Grade 6: Self-Paced Intro to Computer Science and Coding
Students in grade 6 are immersed in a self-paced introduction to computer science and coding. They are learning the fundamentals of computer programming and exploring the world of coding. Grade 8: Graphic Design and Advertising Exploration
Students in grade 8 are delving into the world of graphic design and advertising. They are learning about visual communication, typography, layout, and design principles. Through this exploration, students are gaining an understanding of the persuasive power of visual imagery and its role in advertising. They are encouraged to express their creativity while also learning about the ethical considerations in advertising.
Grade 9: Python Coding for Mathematical Geometrical Shapes
In grade 9, students are engaged in learning how to use Python coding to express mathematical geometrical shapes on a virtual quadrant. This activity integrates coding skills with mathematical concepts, allowing students to visualize and manipulate geometrical shapes through programming. Through this project, students are enhancing their understanding of both coding and mathematical principles, fostering a cross-disciplinary approach to learning.
六年级：计算机科学和编码的 “自定进度”入门课程

Peers Learning is always useful and powerful. Therefore, we provided an opportunity for the DP 2 students to share their Extended Essay and CAS experience with the DP 1 students.
It’s amazing seeing it come to life and seeing the DP 2 students being passionate talking about their EEs and CAS. DP 2 students gave inspiration to the DP1 students embarking on their EE journey. You can see our DP 1 students were asking questions and taking valuable notes from DP 2 students.
By letting the students sharing their CAS, DP 2 students made explicit what and how they learned and what they have accomplished, what they have gained, what they have contributed, and how they have enjoyed the totality of their CAS.
Time for DP 1 students to get started with their Extended Essay journey with the wonderful advice from DP 2 students! Thank you, DP 2 students, for your impressive and valuable sharing!

HKDSE 香港中学文凭课程 홍콩 중등교육과정 프로그램
Our school will invite the Hong Kong Diploma Educators Association to conduct a mock examination for DSE 12 on Thursday and Friday, February 1st and 2nd. The Association of Educators is committed to an objective and accurate analysis of student performance to help students understand the level of each subject and be fully prepared for the official examination in April.
This mock exam will provide students with a valuable opportunity to understand their strengths and room for improvement through a professional assessment.
本校将于本周四及五，即 2 月 1 日及 2 日，邀请香港文凭试教育工作者协会为 DSE 12 年级的同学进行模拟考试。教育工作者协会致力于客观准确地分析学生的表现，以帮助学生了解各科的水平，为接下来4月份的正式考试做好充分准备。
