What an encouraging way to end the week! Today, we received wonderful news that many of our DSE student registrations have been successfully accepted for the upcoming HKDSE Exam. We are thrilled with this achievement and look forward to receiving the remaining few confirmations in the upcoming days.
以如此鼓舞人心的方式为一周画上句点，实乃美事一桩。今日我们欣闻佳讯：众多学子报考香港中学文凭考试（HKDSE）的申请已成功通过审核。这份成果令我们欢欣鼓舞，我们也期待在近日收齐剩余的少量确认函。
I want to express my sincere appreciation to all who attended the School Consultative Forum (SCF) meeting yesterday. Your active participation strengthens our partnership and enhances our school community.

Looking ahead, we have several important events: our basketball team plays again at QSID on Monday, and our Grade 12 students taking their graduation photos at the AIO on Tuesday – always a memorable moment. We will conduct our essential whole-school Fire Drill on Thursday morning to practice safety procedures with all our students and staff.
向前展望，多项重要活动将接踵而至：周一我们的篮球校队将再度出征QSID赛场；周二十二年级学子将在誉德莱东方荟萃艺术中心（AIO）拍摄毕业照——这定将成为我们的相册里永恒的珍藏。到了周四，为强化安全意识，我们全校师生将在上午一同参与消防演习。

Monday:

We kicked off the week by introducing UNESCO’s International Day against Violence and Bullying (including cyberbullying). Students engaged in thoughtful discussions about how they can use their “Power of Doing Good” to speak up, support peers, and stop bullying—both in person and online. We also launched our Poster Competition with the slogan “Power of Doing Good.” Students began designing posters (digital or hand-drawn) to express their commitment to kindness.
本周活动以介绍联合国教科文组织“反对校园暴力与欺凌（包括网络欺凌）国际日”正式拉开帷幕。学生们围绕如何运用善行的力量勇敢发声、支持同伴、终止线上线下的一切欺凌行为，展开了深入讨论。同时，我们以 “善行的力量” 为口号，启动了海报设计大赛。同学们已开始创作（数字或手绘）海报，以此表达他们对践行善意的承诺。
Tuesday: Odd Socks Day!
星期二：奇趣袜日！
Students and staff proudly wore mismatched socks to celebrate individuality and uniqueness. It was a fun, visual reminder that being different is something to be celebrated—not targeted. The day also served as a creative boost for poster designs!
全体师生自豪地穿上各式各样的袜子，以庆祝个性与独特。这充满趣味的视觉展示提醒我们：与众不同值得喝彩，而非成为被攻击的目标。这一活动也为海报设计注入了创意灵感！
On Tuesday, we were honored to host our monthly Parent Coffee Morning which was a special gathering where we turned our focus to parents: the heart of our children’s emotional world.
周二，我们荣幸地举办了本月的“家长咖啡晨会”。这是一次特别聚会，我们将焦点转向父母——孩子们情感世界的核心。

Wednesday: The Power of Our Words
周三：语言的力量
Classrooms became kindness factories! Students wrote specific, heartfelt compliments on sticky notes and secretly placed them around the school. One note can change a day—and together, we flooded our halls with messages of encouragement, proving that small acts of kindness have big power.
教室化身善意工厂！学生们在便签纸上写下具体而真挚的赞美，悄悄贴满校园。一张便签能改变一天—当我们齐心协力，让走廊里充满鼓励的话语时，证明了微小善举蕴藏巨大力量。
We also successfully completed our term Bus Evacuation Drill this week. Students practiced calm, orderly evacuation procedures under the guidance of our transportation team. Thank you to all the drivers and staff who made this drill both educational and reassuring for our students.
本周我们还圆满完成了学期巴士疏散演练。在交通团队指导下，学生们练习了冷静有序的疏散流程。感谢所有司机和工作人员，让这次演练既具教育意义又让学生倍感安心。
Thursday: Cyberbullying Prevention & Digital Safety
周四：网络欺凌预防与数字安全
Teachers held powerful class discussions. Students co-created positive digital agreements like “We think before we post” and “We speak up, not down.” These agreements will now be displayed in classrooms as reminders of our shared values.
教师们组织了富有成效的课堂讨论。学生们共同制定了积极的数字行为准则，例如“发帖前先思考”和“积极发声，拒绝贬低”。这些准则将张贴在教室内，作为我们共同价值观的提醒。
Friday: “Power of Doing Good” Day

To close the week, students wore non-uniform clothing to symbolize unity beyond appearances. We celebrated the winning posters and reflected as a community: What did we learn? How did our words or actions make a difference? We reminded everyone: Kindness isn’t just for this week—it’s a daily choice. Let’s keep it alive, every day.
为给本周活动画上圆满句号，学生们身着便服，以此象征超越外表的团结。我们共同庆祝了海报大赛的获奖作品，并作为共同体进行反思：我们学到了什么？我们的言行带来了怎样的改变？我们再次提醒每个人：善意不仅限于这一周，而是日复一日的选择。让我们每一天都将这份善意延续下去。
A huge, enthusiastic round of applause for Grade 4’s Nora and Grace — our brilliant poster competition winners! Their powerful, creative designs perfectly captured the spirit of “Power of Doing Good” and inspired the entire school community. Their posters are now proudly displayed in the Cobra Café for all to see — come by and admire their work!

1、Bullying awareness week 反欺凌周
We were truly inspired by the recently concluded Kindness Week, which was both powerful and deeply meaningful. During Anti-Bullying Week, we empowered students to use their positive energy—encouraging them to safely speak up and raise awareness whenever they witnessed bullying, whether in person or online. Lasting change requires the involvement of every one of us: from the playground to our homes and mobile devices, each of us embraced our role and responsibility.
我们对刚刚过去的充满力量且意义深远的善行周感到无比振奋！在反欺凌周期间，我们赋予了学生运用自身正能量的能力——鼓励他们在看到欺凌行为时，无论是面对面还是网络上，都能安全地发声并积极提高意识。持久的改变离不开我们每个人的参与：从操场到家庭再到手机，我们每个人都承担起了自己应尽的责任。
2、Bus Emergency Evacuation Exercise 巴士紧急疏散演习
This drill not only tested the feasibility and effectiveness of our school’s emergency plan but also significantly strengthened the safety awareness of both students and staff. Special attention was paid to the multilingual communication of instructions to ensure every child, regardless of cultural background, could accurately receive information. The exercise successfully achieved its intended goals, laying a solid foundation for building a safe and reliable campus transportation environment. The school is committed to conducting such safety drills regularly, prioritizing the life safety of our students and staff above all else.
本次演习不仅检验了我校应急预案的可行性与有效性，也强化了学生与教职工的安全意识。我们特别关注了指令的多语言传达与理解，确保所有孩子，无论其文化背景，都能准确接收信息。演习达到了预期目标，为构建平安、可靠的校园交通环境奠定了坚实基础。学校将持续定期开展此类安全演练，将师生的生命安全置于首位。
3、Inter-school Basketball Tournament 校际篮球赛
The school organized the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams from to attend the basketball match in Qinglan School in Dongguan. During the whole competition, our students showed full enthusiasm and fighting spirit of UISZ, and showed their elegance, which also paved the way for more competitions and teamwork in the future.
学校组织了男、女篮球队前往东莞清澜山学校参加篮球比赛。在整个比赛过程中，我校学生展现了 UISZ 的满腔热情和拼搏精神，展现了他们的风采，也为未来更多的比赛和团队合作奠定了基础。

Next week,our students and faculty will embark on the annual “Week Without Walls” study trip to Hong Kong. This initiative is a cornerstone of our school’s commitment to holistic education, designed to move learning beyond the traditional classroom. In Hong Kong, a global metropolis where Eastern and Western cultures converge, students will gain international perspectives and enhance their cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills through immersive, hands-on experiences.
下周，我校师生将前往香港，开启一年一度的“无墙周”之旅。此次活动是我校“全人教育”理念的重要实践，旨在让学生们走出传统课堂，在香港这个融合中西文化的国际都会中，通过亲身实践和探索，拓展全球视野，锻炼跨文化沟通与协作能力。
2、D12 Graduation Photo Shooting D12年级毕业照拍摄
To capture the wonderful moments of youth and preserve the precious memories of school life, we are pleased to announce that a graduation photo session will be arranged for all Year 12 students. The details are as follows:

This week has been focused on Bullying Awareness activities. Students have taken part in activities each morning that highlight different skills that can raise awareness of bullying and create a safer and friendlier environment.
这一整周，我们全心投入在反欺凌意识活动中。每天早上，同学们都通过不同主题活动，学习如何提升对欺凌现象的认知，共同营造更安全、更友善的校园氛围。

Rene won ice cream for her entire class in celebration of her design, helping to share important messages with our school community. One person doing good led to her whole peer group benefitting. That is the power of good.
