Our UNC, Early Years, and Primary artists concluded the academic year with an inspiring exhibition showcasing curiosity, originality, and determination. Students explored diverse techniques—fiber, ceramics, and 2D drawing and painting—within global contexts aligned with our unit of inquiry: 자신을 표현하는 방법.

Demonstrating IB Learner Profile attributes, our young artists proved themselves to be inquirers and creative thinkers. Through reflection on their own strengths and challenges, students thoughtfully selected materials to best represent their artistic vision, displaying both finished works and their creative exploration processes.

Collaboration was central to the experience. Students strengthened communication and teamwork skills while building upon previous learning and extending their artistic practice in new directions.

The exhibition’s impact extended beyond the gallery. Grade 10 student Margo organized an inspiring Art Auction, raising 1,655 RMB for the Fang Fang Education Project—enabling disadvantaged students to access schooling. We thank all contributors and purchasers for their generosity.

Musicians from Grades 1–5 filled the celebration with sophistication and joy, transforming the exhibition into a powerful reflection of our community at its best. More than a showcase of artistic talent, this event reminded us that creativity can connect, inspire, and create meaningful change—an unforgettable celebration of the spirit of expression and the impact we can make together.
