Students are placed in a grade level after due consideration of their chronological age, previous school experience, achievement level, and emotional and physical maturity, with consideration given to UISG’s curriculum, standards, and expectations.

Students who have not completed a full academic year of a given grade level by the start of the school year will be enrolled in the same grade level. Regarding mid-year applications from other national school systems whose school calendars differ from our calendar, students may be required to complete the UISG school year at their current grade level.

보육 프로그램에 등록하는 학생은 프리스쿨에 등록할 수 있습니다. 해당 학년도 9월 1일 또는 그 이전에 만 3세 또는 4세여야 합니다. 유치원에 등록하는 학생은 해당 학년 9월 1일 또는 그 이전에 만 5세여야 합니다.

UISG recognizes that there may be differences in the opinion of parents or students regarding grade-level placement as a result of a transfer from a different educational system, a different program of studies, or a system based on a different calendar year. However, UISG reserves the right to make all final determinations regarding grade-level placement.
