Welcome to the Year of the Horse 2026! We celebrated the horse’s courage, strength and creativity through a vibrant PYP and MYP exhibition that showcased the talents of our whole school community.

You can already feel the festive spirit quietly filling our Montessori classroom. Right before the holiday break, we held a special tea party—each child brought a traditional dish from their hometown. In that moment, our classroom turned into “A Bite of China.”

In the jubilant Year of the Horse, joy and blessings fill the air. On the afternoon of February 11, 2026, as the Spring Festival of the Horse Year approached, Secondary Division of UISG was brimming with warmth and delight. A spectacular Spring Festival celebration unfolded as scheduled, bringing together teachers, students, and parents. Through vibrant songs and dances fueled by passion, they embraced an audiovisual feast of youthful vitality and diverse cultural flavors, all in anticipation of the promising Year of the Horse.

As the year turns and the horse brings in spring, on the evening of February 6, 2026, the warmth of the Year of the Fire Horse (Bing Wu) grew stronger. Staff from Utahloy Education Foundation came together for a glittering and heartwarming Spring Festival celebration. Through song and dance, wishes for a warm year were shared. Colleagues sat side by side, welcoming the gentle hopes of the Lunar New Year. 

Happy New Year! As we step into 2026 together, we embrace a pivotal new chapter for our school. In Chinese culture, the horse represents courage, loyalty, and achievement. May we all carry this spirit forward—galloping fearlessly toward our goals and reaching new heights together. Wishing every member of our UISG family a joyful, prosperous, and fulfilling year ahead!

It has been a wonderful week filled with lively performances from students and staff, and the warm presence of parents and community members gathering to welcome the Year of the Horse. We are deeply grateful for your participation and for the UISG Spirit you bring. 

We are thrilled to announce that Utahloy International School Guangzhou (UISG) will host an exclusive University Talk Series of Korean universities this spring. The series will feature direct, on-campus sessions with admissions officers from four of South Korea’s most prestigious universities.

The second semester ignited with energy for UISG Athletics as our Wolves demonstrated outstanding skill, relentless drive, and true sportsmanship across a packed schedule.
