Year 3 went on a top-secret field trip to see how a factory makes ceramic tiles. Ceramic tiles are all around us. We use them for countertops, floors and walls. We learned ceramic tiles can make a place look neat, beautiful or even glamorous.

Last Friday we had the pleasure of hosting the Read Write Inc (RWI) Part 1 workshop for parents in the Hub. Ms Dilek, the RWI reading leader, shared what phonics is and explained how RWI works at UISG.
At UISG we have a Play-based Early Years program. Children engage in Big Body Play which include actions like rolling, chasing, spinning, jumping, and swinging. These body movements happen individually, with friends or groups, and in structured activities like outdoor learning and physical education classes.
