Founded in 1998, UISG is Guangzhou’s pioneer IB continuum school and the city’s most established IB World School. We are authorized to offer the full International Baccalaureate (IB) program — from the Primary Years Programme (PYP) through the Middle Years Programme (MYP) to the Diploma Programme (DP) — for students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. Now, with the addition of boarding and the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE), we offer even more pathways to global success, ensuring every student can find the educational journey that best fits their aspirations.

A significant proportion achieves 40+ points (out of 45), placing them among the top IB candidates worldwide.
In 2025, 78% of our graduates earned a bilingual diploma — a distinction achieved by fewer than 27% of IB students globally. Mother tongue support in 7 languages drives our IB bilingual rate.
Our Class of 2025 received nearly 200 offers from top global universities across 11 countries, with strong QS Top 30 acceptance rates for three consecutive years.

We are proud to offer the most established Mother Tongue Programme in Guangzhou with instruction in Chinese, Korean, Japanese, German, French, and Spanish, ensuring that students maintain their home languages while developing fluency in English. Being a UISG family means being part of an inclusive worldwide community of students, parents, teachers, and alumni who are proud members of the UISG Wolfpack. From each prospective family’s first visit, we strive to ensure everyone feels welcome and supported. Once enrolled, we strengthen connections through the Utahloy Parent Teacher Association (UPTA), parent language groups, and year-level groups, while annual events such as the UPTA Welcome Picnic and International Festival of Light bring our community together. Parents are actively encouraged to participate in their child’s education, and we work together with them to develop the best program for our students.
