Decoding Your Child’s Signals
Communicate Effectively with Children
2025 KID
As parents, we understand how frustrating it can be when children throw tantrums, talk back, or exhibit challenging behaviors. It’s easy to assume they’re deliberately “acting out.”
However, studies have shown that these behaviors often mask unmet emotional needs—not a desire to provoke us.
In this workshop, you’ll learn simple yet powerful tools like the “Three Empathic Responses” technique and other interactive strategies.
These methods help you connect with your child’s emotions at critical moments, making them feel truly heard.
When children feel understood and accepted, their emotions naturally settle. Over time, they will learn to express themselves and regulate their feelings more effectively.
By shifting our perspective—from seeing behaviors as “defiance” to recognizing them as opportunities for connection—we can transform parent-child relationships into calmer, more loving bonds.

Decoding Your Child’s Signals: How to Communicate Effectively with Children
