That’s why, as part of our ongoing commitment to creating safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environments, we will be supporting the International Day against Violence and Bullying at School, including Cyberbullying, recognized by UNESCO.

An upcoming key focus is our Bullying Awareness Week which begins next Monday. Our students will engage in age-appropriate lessons and discussions to reinforce our shared commitment to a safe, respectful, and inclusive school culture. We encourage you to continue these important conversations at home. The week will be highlighted by a dedicated Assembly on Wednesday and our Spirit Day: Crazy Socks Day on Friday, a visible and united display of our community’s values. In athletics, we wish our High School Basketball Team success as they compete at TS on Thursday. 

At 8:15 a.m., while UISZ is still wrapped in mist, our corridors echo with a cheerful French song. Singing “Bonjour, mes amis” and miming words like “soleil,” “arbre,” and “oiseau,” our PYP students participate in a three-minute “French Wake-Up Ritual”—a micro inquiry lesson designed by our PYP team.

D12 classroom was packed on Wednesday morning for a highly targeted guidance session designed for our D12 students. We were honoured to have Mr. Alex as our keynote speaker, providing an in-depth analysis of the JUPAS system and the Mainland University Admission Scheme for 2026 DSE candidates.

UIS’s International Festival of Light returns to UISG campus this December. As our largest event, it opens our doors to Guangzhou for a magical evening where the arts take centre stage. Immerse yourself in a world of music, dynamic performances, and stunning art as we celebrate the vibrant spirit and diversity that unites us. Don’t miss this spectacular winter highlight!

This week, the University of Hong Kong came to UISZ! Our students had the fantastic opportunity to engage with an HKU admissions officer during an exclusive seminar held right on our campus. Fresh from HKU’s own Information Day, the officer brought the excitement to us, allowing our students to connect with this world-renowned institution without having to travel to Hong Kong.

On October 18, the UISZ campus transformed into a buzzing arena filled with sunshine, green grass, and enthusiastic cheers! 🌱⚽️ The PRC Yellow Division Middle-School Girls Football Exchange kicked off with a spectacular display of talent and teamwork which saw our team achieving 2nd place.

I wanted to begin by expressing my sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the fabulous ‘Ultimate Uni-Fair 2025-2026’ today. It was wonderful to have so many engaged UISZ and UISG families exploring future pathways with our university representatives; your presence made the event a tremendous success.
