At Utahloy International School Zengcheng (UISZ), we believe that every child is unique, and their education should reflect this individuality. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, we are committed to providing a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our Student Support Services (SSS) program is at the heart of this mission—a holistic framework designed to nurture each child’s potential while meeting their specific needs.
It is April and many exciting things are happening in the school. We celebrated book week at UISZ, started new ECAs in secondary, our secondary Boys performed well at the ACAMIS Football tournament, and we have students engaged in exams.
Welcome back, families! We hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful vacation with their loved ones. As we approached the break, our week was filled with events that showcased student expression and creativity, bringing our community together.
In the world of art, every soul is a shining star, and the UISZ Art Festival is the brilliant galaxy where these stars converge. The students showcased their creativity and talent, presenting a feast for both the eyes and the spirit within the campus.
As we welcome the arrival of spring, we notice the changes around us. The days are getting longer, flowers are blooming, and there is a sense of renewal in the air. This is a time for growth and new opportunities.
At Utahloy International School (UIS), with campuses in Guangzhou (UISG) and Zengcheng (UISZ), we are proud to celebrate another year of outstanding university placements for our graduates. With the 100th acceptance letter recently received, our students have once again proven that with the right guidance, support, and opportunities, they can achieve their dreams. But what truly sets UIS apart is not just the impressive list of university offers—it’s the personalized, student-centered approach that ensures every graduate, whether from UISG or UISZ, finds the university that best aligns with their unique aspirations, talents, and goals.
The transition from high school to the next chapter is a pivotal moment in every student’s life. How can the critical thinking and global perspectives nurtured by the IB curriculum align with real-world career paths? How can classroom knowledge translate into tangible opportunities?
At UISZ, we understand the power of art. In the IB curriculum, art is not just a subject; it’s a way of life. We encourage our kids to explore the world and express themselves with brushes, cameras, and musical instruments. Art teaches our children to observe, think, and create, which are the keys to their future success.
As we reach the middle of March, we are excited to remind our community about the upcoming 3-way and student conferences on March 28. These conferences offer an invaluable opportunity for students, parents, and teachers to come together and discuss individual learning progress. These conversations allow us to celebrate achievements, address challenges, and collaboratively set goals for future academic success. We encourage all parents to actively participate in their child’s education, as your involvement significantly impacts their learning journey.
This week at UISZ, we continued to explore the themes of community and celebration, highlighting the achievements of our students across various grades. Our MYP Year 10 students completed their mock exams, an important tool for reflecting on their learning journey and preparing for the upcoming MYP E exams. The students dedicated themselves to this process, demonstrating seriousness and commitment.
