We are now three school days away from the Spring Festival and festivities have already started.  Meanwhile, we need to highlight that students will be engaged in learning until all buses leave this coming Wednesday at 12:00 pm.

While the weather was on the cold side this week, UISZ students came back to class Monday with a desire to finish the year of the rabbit on a high note.  This week, secondary students came back to school after a constructive, instructive and sometimes emotional MUN weekend.

We want to start by thanking all parents who participated in the first celebration of the International Day of the Child, held last Monday.  Parents had the opportunity to see their children in action at school and also took advice from our expert in education: our teachers.

We would like to start this community summary by expressing our most sincere congratulations to our High School Girls Volleyball team who secured third place last weekend in Tianjin at the ACAMIS tournament.  Our girls demonstrated the determination and grit that are necessary to reach higher skies.

Our beloved Boarding House has once again seen its most popular night of the year last Tuesday as our annual Spooky Trick or Treating evening took place.  Many thanks to our extraordinary Boarding team for the organization and to our Year 12 for the coordination of the “Nightmare Hall” and the pinata!  Special credit to these DSE and IB students for their joint collaboration!
