From the inception of the MYP programme, Leo’s thirst for exploration and creativity found a nurturing home at UISZ. Engaging in subjects like visual arts and design technology, his artistic passions ignited, leading him to embrace his creative inclinations wholeheartedly. As the years unfolded, Leo’s enthusiasm for the arts remained steadfast, ultimately guiding him to pursue a career in industrial design.
Within the dynamic community of UISZ, Leo discovered a platform to expand his horizons and develop various aspects of his character. Engaging in events like Model United Nations, Art Festival, and International Day, he honed his leadership and organizational skills, while also cultivating a sense of global awareness and empathy. One unforgettable experience that marked Leo’s journey was the inception of the Heena Tatto booth during Year 7. Stepping out of his comfort zone, he took the initiative to establish and organize this engaging activity. Over time, his dedication and perseverance allowed him to refine his artistic abilities and become a central figure in its management. This venture taught him the power of resilience and the fulfillment that arises from overcoming challenges.
While the journey through the IB programme demanded dedication and diligent time management, Leo embraced the challenge wholeheartedly. Balancing rigorous academic demands, crafting his portfolio, and actively participating in CAS activities became a testament to his discipline and commitment to personal growth.
