On the day of 10 Feb, 2026, as the Year of the Horse drew nearer and nearer, UISZ students gathered together at the MFH to join in a wonderful Chinese New Year celebration, an occasion suffused with an atmosphere of joy and blessings, which provided an audio-visual feast for the teachers and students participating. The proceedings began with a heartfelt and warmly received New Year’s speech by the Head of the School, Mr Dan Mullen, which expressed good wishes to all for the New Year and set a warm and joyful tone for the whole event.

2026年2月10日，随着马年的脚步日益临近，UISZ学生们齐聚MFH，共同参与了一场精彩纷呈的春节庆祝活动。这场洋溢着喜庆祥瑞氛围的盛会，为参与的师生们呈现了一场视听盛宴。活动伊始，校长Mr Dan Mullen先生发表了真挚而深受欢迎的新年致辞，向全体师生传递新年祝福，为整个庆典奠定了温馨喜庆的基调。

A particular highlight was the exceptional work of Grades 2, 3, 4 and 5. During their music lessons, these students collaborated to compose original pieces, working together in bands to develop musical ideas, shape structure, and rehearse their performances. Watching them perform their own compositions live with confidence and energy was a proud moment, both personally and for our wider school community.

特别值得一提的是二至五年级学生展现的非凡才华。在音乐课上，这些学生通过乐队合作创作原创作品，共同构思音乐创意、完善曲目结构并排练演出。当他们充满自信与活力地现场演绎自己的作品时，这份骄傲不仅属于个人，更属于整个校园大家庭。

The entire event was a tremendous success and a genuine celebration of creativity, courage, and musical talent. Our students demonstrated not only their developing skills, but also their willingness to take risks, collaborate meaningfully, and express themselves through performance. We are incredibly proud of everyone who took part and helped make the celebration so memorable.”
