Our buses departed at 12:00 pm today, sending students and teachers to their home to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Many of you are traveling extensively, some internationally, marking a sign of renewal since the pandemic started in 2019. We wish you all safe travels and very festive moments with your closed ones.
오늘 스쿨 버스는 12시에 학교를 떠나 설을 맞이하는 학생들과 교사들을 집으로 보냈습니다. 2019년 전염병이 시작된 이래로 처음으로 많은 사들이 장거리로, 일부는 외국으로 여행을 하고 있으며 이것은 새로운 시작의 신호로 보여집니다. 저희는 여러분 모두가 안전한 여행을 하시기를 바라며 가족, 친척, 친구들과 함께 행복한 연휴 기간을 보내기를 기원합니다.
Please note that our school will resume its operations on Monday, February 6, 2023. We will inform you in due time whether face-to-face learning becomes mandatory, or if we must provide the online learning alternative.

Save the date! Festival of the Arts and Chinese New Year Celebration: On Thursday, February 23, we will combine both events, initially scheduled for two half-days, into one full day of celebrations. Please join us!

모의 유엔은 3월 3일부터 5일까지 금요일, 토요일, 일요일에 개최됩니다.
Please note that during the event, all lessons will be suspended for years 6-12 to enable our year 6-12 students to participate to the event, wearing their best attire! We expect everyone to participate.

PYP 초등교육과정
In order to celebrate the arrival of Chinese new year,primary carried out a variety of activites this week.Primary students has made handcrafts to decorate classrooms during the assembly time.And kids all dressed up to school on Friday, we not only experienced making dumplings for lunch at canteen,but also created paper-cutting and made new year cards to welcome the Year of the Rabbit.We sincerely wish you all a happy new year and good luck in the Year of the rabbit.
중국의 새해 맞이를 축하하기 위해, 초등학교는 이번 주에 다양한 활동들을 진행했습니다. 초등학생들은 조회 시간 동안 교실을 장식하기 위해 여러가지 미술 공작물들을 만들었습니다. 그리고 금요일에 학생들은 모두 학교에 전통 의상과 빨간 의상을 입고, 식당에서 점심으로 먹을 만두를 만들기도 했고, 토끼의 해, 계묘년을 맞아 종이를 잘라 연하장을 만들기도 했습니다. 모두 새해 복 많이 받으시고 토끼의 해에도 행운이 가득하시길 진심으로 기원합니다.

MYP 중등교육과정
Year 10 students continue to work on their personal projects, which are due later this spring. Students have met with their advisors inbetween breaks to stay on track with their deadlines. Topics that students have chosen range from ocean plastics to mental health. Students participated in Chinese New Year activities this week and are looking forward to the long holiday, the new year, and hopefully returning in-person soon!
10학년 학생들은 개인 프로젝트를 계속해서 진행하고 있으며, 이 프로젝트는 봄이 끝날 무렵 완료될 예정입니다. 학생들은 마감일을 지키기 위해 쉬는 시간 사이에 지도 교사를 만났습니다. 학생들이 선택한 주제는 해양 플라스틱에서부터 정신 건강에 이르기까지 다양합니다. 학생들은 이번 주에 중국 새해 관련 활동에 참여했고 긴 연휴와 새해를 기대하고 있습니다. 연휴 후에는 모두가 대면 수업으로 돌아와 얼굴을 볼 수 있기를 바랍니다!

DP TOK Y12 students all will finish their (EA) TOK essays today!!! This is a big achievement and mark’s the completion of the TOK course for students.
DP TOK 12학년 학생들은 오늘 TOK 에세이를 모두 마칠 예정입니다!! 이 에세이는 학생들이 TOK 과정을 수료했다는 것을 보여주는 큰 성과입니다.
HKDSE 香港中学文凭课程
This week, our Economics lessons focused on the difference between supply level and supply, and the 7 factors that act on the supply curve. Students participated actively in the class and interacted and drew graphs. Wednesday evening, HKDSE held a seminar where we prepared drinks and snacks for our students, to better understand how our students are progressing, so we can target well-directed teaching for them. We also learned a lot about our students’ talents, such as Karry, who is an accomplished piano player; William, who has a gift of speech; Popo, who is skilled in singing and dancing; and Allen, who is a master of sports. We hope that our students will have a healthy and happy new year， and a great future!
이번 주 경제학 시간에는 공급 수준과 공급 간의 차이와 공급 곡선에 영향을 미치는 7가지 요인에 대해 공부했습니다. 학생들은 수업에 적극적으로 참여하며 상호작용하고 그래프를 그렸습니다. 수요일 저녁, HKDSE는 학생들을 위해 음료와 간식을 준비해 세미나를 열었습니다. 이 세미나는 저희가 학생들을 더 잘 지도할 수 있도록 학생들이 어떻게 발전하고 있는지를 이해하기 위해 진행되었습니다. 또한 저희는 뛰어난 피아노 연주자인 Karry, 뛰어난 달변가 William, 노래와 춤에 능숙한 Popo, 그리고 스포츠의 달인인 Allen을 포함해 우리 학생들의 재능에 대해 많이 배웠습니다. 학생들이 건강하고 행복한 새해와 멋진 미래를 보내기를 바랍니다!
