The newly established Forest School has become a unique outdoor classroom, allowing students to step out of traditional classrooms and experience and explore the mysteries of nature firsthand. This close contact with nature has not only greatly enriched their learning content but, more importantly, fostered a sense of respect and awareness for environmental protection among our students.
At the Forest School, students engage in interdisciplinary projects such as ecological research, environmental science experiments, and nature art creation, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience. During Christmas, we held warm celebration ceremonies where students learned to share and be grateful through performances and gift exchanges. In Model United Nations activities, students, acting as representatives of different countries, debated on global issues, enhancing their public speaking and diplomatic skills and broadening their international perspective and critical thinking.
Spring Festival celebrations allowed students to gain an in-depth understanding of Chinese traditional culture through activities such as dragon and lion dances, paper-cutting, and making Chinese knots, experiencing the joy and cultural charm of the festival. Earth Day and Peace Day activities made students aware of the importance of environmental protection and world peace, teaching them how to become responsible global citizens through participation in environmental projects and peace education. Our Art Festival and STEAM Day activities provided platforms for students to showcase their talents and innovative thinking. At the Art Festival, students expressed themselves through various forms such as painting and clay; at STEAM Day, they explored the integration of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through scientific experiments, technological creations, and engineering design activities.
