As we approach our much-anticipated Family Day on March 1 at UISG, we find ourselves in a moment of celebration and reflection. This special day provides an opportunity for families from both schools to unite and celebrate our vibrant community. Through various physical activities and cooperative games, families will engage with one another, fostering connections and reinforcing the sense of belonging that is at the heart of our community. My name is Janet He, and I am a graduate of the UISZ DSE program for the Class of 2025. I am also a candidate for this year's Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) examination. I chose to take the HKDSE program because I hold a Hong Kong identity card, which allows me to apply to universities in Hong Kong through the JUPAS system. Compared to other international programs, the DSE provides me with a more direct and strategic pathway for further education, especially aimed at my goal of studying in Hong Kong.
We extend a heartfelt congratulations to our Year 5 students who successfully presented their Year 5 PYP Exhibition to the community on Wednesday, May 7. This remarkable presentation showcased the students' learning and the in-depth exploration of the theme "Sharing the Planet." A special thank you goes out to the teachers, parents, and mentors who dedicated their time and effort to support our students throughout this transformative learning journey.
