Discover the Wonders of Learning in the Forest This Summer

Dear parents and children, the UISZ 2025 Forest Course English Extension Summer Camp is like a hidden treasure in nature, waiting for the kids to uncover its magic and beauty.

Secret Classroom in the Forest

Imagine children following their instructors into a vibrant forest. They use magnifying glasses to observe the veins of leaves and record traces of small animals in their notebooks. Here, every tree and leaf becomes a vivid teaching material. They learn to identify trees, understand forest ecosystems, and master practical skills like building shelters and safely making fires. These practical activities not only exercise the children’s hands-on abilities but also cultivate their respect for nature.

English: A Tool for Exploration

Every day, children will learn around an interesting theme, such as “Forest Animals,” “Plant Life,” or “Environmental Protection.” Through pictures, videos, and interactive dialogues, they can easily acquire relevant vocabulary and sentence structures. More importantly, in role-playing, children transform into forest rangers or scientists, describing their work and discoveries in English. This learning method makes English not just words on paper but a tool for exploring nature.

Teamwork: Building Friendships in the Forest

In the forest, children need to work together to complete various tasks, such as building simple shelters or creating eco-friendly artworks. In this process, they learn to divide labor and cooperate, exercise leadership and a sense of responsibility. Every team collaboration is a testament to the children’s friendships, and they learn to listen, understand, and respect each other through cooperation.

Unlimited Creativity: Every Child Is a Little Artist

Natural resources in the forest, such as twigs, leaves, and stones, are all materials for children’s creations. They use these materials to make handicrafts and show their creativity. There are also drama activities where children create and perform short plays based on their daily learning and present them to other campers in English. In these activities, children not only exercise their expressive abilities but also learn to transform their knowledge into creative works.

Safety and Growth: We Are Committed to Protecting

We understand parents’ concerns and never take safety lightly. Each class is equipped with one bilingual instructor and one outdoor safety officer to ensure the safety of the children. We also prepare first-aid kits, positioning devices, and plan evacuation routes in advance. Daily temperature checks and mosquito-repellent measures are our promises to the children’s health.

Boarding Camp: Growing Independently in the Forest

This year, we have specially launched a boarding camp option, allowing children to spend a full night in the forest and experience the fun of independent living. The boarding camp includes breakfast and dinner, for 4 nights and 5 days a week. Here, children will:

· Cultivate independent living skills: Learn to arrange their own schedules and manage personal belongings.

· Deeply experience nature: Observe the stars and listen to the chirping of insects in the forest at night, feeling the charm of nature.

· Make more friends:Live with children from different places to expand their social circles.

· Enjoy professional care:A team of professional boarding instructors ensures the safety and comfort of the children.

Date: June 23 – July 4, 2025 (Monday to Friday)
Time: 9:30-15:30 (Day Camp), Boarding Camp includes evening activities

Expected Outcomes

Children will be proficient in using English vocabulary and expressions related to forests.
They will have a preliminary understanding of forest ecosystems and develop a value of caring for nature.
Children will enhance their interpersonal communication skills and learn to communicate and cooperate effectively with peers.
They will cultivate the ability to think independently and solve problems, and boost self-confidence.

Enrollment Information

· Maximum number of students: 20

· Class commencement condition: The class will commence with a minimum of 10 students enrolled.

· Parent communication: Daily activity photos will be pushed, along with English learning summaries. A growth report will be provided after the camp concludes.
