The UISZ campus has a health clinic staffed by nurses. The clinic is located at the school and provides services to all students. The nurses log all clinic visits. They are employed by and can access immediate support from doctors at the clinic if necessary. Nurses are in attendance at all sporting and school events. 

Parents must keep their children home if they are sick. By following procedure, the School is able to maintain a healthy environment for all and minimise infections.

The School Nurse will contact the relevant head of school and parents in the event of an injury or illness. In the event of a severe injury or illness, the parents will be contacted so that we can transport the student to a hospital or medical clinic for further treatment. Usually, the nurse will accompany the student to the facility and meet the parents there.
