안녕하세요!!!
The week that has just passer was definitely marked by a wonderful initiative aimed to get our community together, more knowledgeable, and strive like never before! The Parent Workshop held a whole day last Thursday was a frank success. The 10 sessions held had three main objectives:
- Facilitate home-school relationships with parents who understand our programmes and increase their awareness on diverse well-being issues.
- Showcase the expertise of UISZ educators
- Increase parents knowledge of our programmes and practices, enabling them to better inform prospect families about our programmes and wonderful learning and living environment.
The day culminated with the first long-awaited visit of our new home. It was indeed a real pleasure to show them the building that we will call home soon.
Thank you so much for everyone’s input and collaboration! Our aim is to hold similar events every term.
刚刚过去的一周诚然以精彩的活动给我们留下了深刻记忆，旨在让我们的社区团结起来，这些活动为大家提供了更深入丰富的知识，且大家付出了前所未有的努力！ 这使上周四举行的全日的家长工作坊取得了圆满成功。 举行的10场会议主要有3个目标：
- 促进家庭与学校之间的联系，让家长们了解我们的课程，提高家长们对各种福祉问题的意识；
- 展示增城誉德莱教育工作者们的专业性；
- 增加家长们对我们的计划和实践的认识，以更好地向其他家庭介绍我们的课程以及美好的学习、生活环境。
这一天以期待已久的新校区首度访问之旅而达到高潮， 向大家展示了我们很快就会称之为家的建筑，这确实是一件非常让人高兴的事情。
非常感谢大家的投入与合作！ 期待在未来，每学期都举办这类活动。
이번 주는 확실히 우리 커뮤니티를 하나로 모으고, 더 많은 지식을 습득하고, 이전과는 다른 방식으로 노력하기 위한 멋진 활동으로 가득했습니다! 지난 목요일 하루 종일 열린 학부모 워크샵은 성황리에 마무리되었습니다. 총 10개의 세션이 진행되었으며, 세 가지 주요 목표가 있었습니다:
1- 우리 프로그램을 이해하고 다양한 웰빙 문제에 대한 학부모의 인식을 높이는 가정과 학교의 관계를 촉진하기.
2- UISZ 교육자들의 전문성 보여주기
3- 우리 프로그램과 관행에 대한 학부모의 지식을 높여 예비 가족에게 우리 프로그램과 훌륭한 학습 및 생활 환경에 대해 더 잘 알리기
이 날은 오랫동안 기다려온 새 보금자리 방문으로 마무리되었습니다. 곧 우리 보금자리가 될 건물을 보여드릴 수 있어서 정말 기뻤습니다.
여러분의 의견과 협조에 정말 감사드립니다! 저희의 목표는 매 학기마다 비슷한 행사를 개최하는 것입니다.
Year 10 Personal Project Exhibition: Please note that our Year 10 students will present their Personal Project to the entire school on Thursday, March 7 from 3:45pm to 5:00 pm. For this occasion, all free ECA’s will be cancel to enable all students to visit the exhibition. Parents of Year 10 are welcome!!!

Talent Show postponed: It appears like we have numerous students… and staff who still need time to think and /or practice their performance. This is why, to listen to general demand, we are postponing the Talen Show to March 27 from 7:00pm.

PYP 国际文凭小学课程 초등교육과정
As a part of “How we organise ourselves” Unit of Inquiry, the young learners in K-K2 are exploring our classroom and school community.

“우리 자신을 조직하는 방법” 탐구 단원의 일환으로, K-K2의 어린 학습자들은 교실과 학교 커뮤니티를 탐험하고 있습니다.
In this week, we had a small “field-visit”where students toured around the campus. In pairs, we discussed and observed the places, people and things we have in our school. During the tour,students scribbled and sketched what they saw with their partners. Together, we pictured and made collaborative collage craft about our school. Our young students had more underdsanding of the meaning of being in a group and community, while growing sense of belonging about themselves and the school.
这周，我们进行了一次小型的“实地考察”，学生们参观了校园。我们两人一组，讨论并观察学校里的不同区域、人和事物。在参观过程中，学生们和伙伴们一起涂鸦和素描他们所看到的东西。学生们共同协作，为我们的学校描绘并制作了拼贴画。通过活动，我们的年轻学生对团体和社区的意义有了更多的理解，同时对自己和学校的归属感也越来越强了。
이번 주에는 학생들이 캠퍼스 곳곳을 둘러보는 작은 ‘현장 탐방’을 가졌습니다. 짝을 지어 우리 학교의 장소, 사람, 사물에 대해 토론하고 관찰했습니다. 견학하는 동안 학생들은 파트너와 함께 본 것을 낙서하고 스케치했습니다. 함께 우리 학교에 대한 그림을 그리고 협업 콜라주 작품도 만들었습니다. 어린 학생들은 그룹과 공동체의 의미를 더 잘 이해하게 되었고, 자신과 학교에 대한 소속감도 커졌습니다.
Being a group of imaginative and creative young artists, we decided to build a school of our own with paint! We first enjoyed reading the book “If I built a school” and we came up with many interesting ideas about how we want our school to be. Our young students worked together in groups and had a blast experimenting with different tools to shape, stamp, trace, and paint the school. Well done everyone! What a piece of art!

MYP 国际文凭中学课程 중등교육과정
Students in Y6 Media Arts class had a group critique of their collaborative ‘Show Don’t Tell – 7 Deadly Sins’ film task this week. The process for producing the films involved working in randomly selected production groups, to select 3 of the seven deadly sins – for example wrath, sloth, and greed. They then developed short film synopses that would visually show these emotional states through facial expression and actions – rather than relying on the spoken word. After which they worked together to perform, film and edit their films.

DP 国际文凭大学预科课程 디플로마 과정
At this stage, DP 1 students are well underway with their extended essays. They have been busy researching, formulating the research question, and finally writing the essay. Having completed the mock exams, DP 2 students have received meaningful feedback from teachers and invigilators. It’s also the last crucial stage for them to complete the Internal Assessment (IA) documents. Each DP subject has an Internal Assessment, which accounts for 20-40 percent of the total mark and is one of the key points for which students have to work hard to prepare. After completing the IA, students will focus on revising the subject content in preparation for the final DP exams, which start on 24 April this year.

Mid-Term Exam Moderation – China and Japan:
We have successfully completed the mid-term exams for Year 11, focusing on the historical contexts of China and Japan. Our students engaged in rigorous assessments that aimed to evaluate their understanding of the key events, individuals, and societal changes in these two influential Asian nations. The exam papers are now being prepared for moderation, ensuring the accuracy and fairness of the evaluation process.

Our dedicated teaching team is excited to guide students through this significant part of history, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for the diverse paths to independence undertaken by countries in South East Asia.
