As the 2024-2025 school year comes to a successful close, every member of UISZ carries a heart full of achievements and fond memories, ready to embrace new challenges. This year, we have not only witnessed the upgrade of the school’s physical facilities but also experienced a deepening of our educational philosophy and community spirit. Now, let’s review this journey filled with exploration, adaptation, and impact together.
What an incredible journey this year has been! It has been a time marked by growth, transformation, and the strength of our community. The year began with our move to UISZ’s new permanent home. We quickly settled into the new building, embraced the wonderful spaces, and adapted to having our sports facilities and residences just a short bus ride away. These new surroundings gave us all a chance to take a deep breath, settle into new classes, and warmly welcome new members to our community.

I chose to study the DSE because it’s a unique international curriculum that allows students to answer in Chinese, which felt more natural and manageable for me. Compared to AP or A-Level, I found the DSE more straightforward and better suited to students who are strong in Chinese. It provides a solid path for university admissions, especially in Hong Kong.
It has been a true pleasure working alongside you this year and supporting our students as they grew, explored new opportunities, and embraced challenges. The UISZ community is a remarkable group, united in purpose and collaboration, all dedicated to the success and well-being of our students.

As the global university admissions season continues, our second cohort of DSE graduates at UISZ has once again demonstrated their strength with outstanding performance. To date, our DSE graduates have collectively received 7 university offers from prestigious institutions worldwide, with approximately 43% of graduates being admitted to global TOP 50 universities or programs, and about 86% to global TOP 100 universities or programs.
