·Future Leaders Academy Week 1·
Summer is in full swing at UISG, and our Future Leaders Academy programme kicked off with a week of curiosity, creativity, and discovery. Across all three age groups—Wolf Cubs (3–5yrs), Early Innovators (6–8yrs), and Innovators (9–11yrs)—our Future Leaders have immersed themselves in an inquirybased, intensive English environment where every lesson weaves together critical thinking, collaboration, and handson exploration. Whether they’re decoding facts in English or experimenting with coding and robots, our Future Leaders are learning to ask questions, take risks, and solve problems with confidence.

✦
UISG의 Wolf Cubs have been settling into UISG life through storybased STEM challenges. After dramatising We’re Going on a Bear Hunt in the playground—complete with handcrafted grass, trees, and snowflakes—they collaborated to design simple machines that helped their pretend “bear” across imaginary terrain. By embedding science and engineering concepts in playful narratives, we nurture curiosity and foundational problemsolving from day one.
02.Early Innovators

그리고 Early Innovators have likewise dived into miniengineering projects alongside language immersion. In their STEM workshop, small teams constructed wooden models of the Eiffel Tower and the Great Wall of China using hinges and tack, then presented short videos explaining their structural decisions. At the same time, English lessons ranged from selfintroduction postermaking, to guided “tour guide” presentations, so every Future Leader strengthens both communication and designthinking skills.
03.Innovators
In our Innovators programme, children have been journeying “Around the Globe,” using world maps to identify continents and oceans before bringing those places to life with 3D landmark puzzles. In one STEM lesson, they engineered scale models of famous structures, then drew on datadriven research to write fact files integrating both maps and descriptive text. This blend of geography, engineering and literacy exemplifies how our STEM approach engages critical thinking and reinforces transferable skills.

Beyond the classroom, our Future Leaders have explored coding by programming Dash the robot to navigate world maps, and expressed themselves through music, art, and movement. From composing Chinesestyle melodies in GarageBand to crafting slabbuilt clay sculptures that evoke adventure, they’ve discovered how creativity and technology go hand in hand. In PE and swimming lessons, they’ve honed teamwork, coordination, and aquatic safety, proving that leadership often emerges when children push their physical boundaries together.

Future Leaders Academy
At UISG, the Future Leaders Academy is more than a summer programme; it’s an introduction to our school’s holistic vision as an IB continuum school. We focus on developing the whole child, not only through highquality academics but by cultivating the skills and dispositions that will set our Future Leaders apart. From critical thinking and collaboration, to resilience and global mindedness, our learners are equipped to thrive in an everchanging world beyond school.
Spaces for the 2025–26 UISG school year are now open—if you’d like to learn more or schedule a tour, please scan the QR code below. We look forward to welcoming your family and helping your child embark on a lifetime of discovery!
