UISZ Weekly Summary

We entered to Year of the Dragon at UISZ last Monday, in the presence of six newcomers whom we welcomed with warmth.  During the week, we also welcomed back our returning students and staff who are surely feeling that there is less time remaining in this academic year than time that have elapsed, but also weigh the amount of exciting and challenging tasks that are yet to accomplish.   

We are entering the year of Dragon, not only here in China, but also in several regions of the world.  May the next two weeks be filled with quality family time, travels and discovery and of course, rest and preparation to the upcoming exams for our Year 10 and seniors. 

We are now three school days away from the Spring Festival and festivities have already started.  Meanwhile, we need to highlight that students will be engaged in learning until all buses leave this coming Wednesday at 12:00 pm. 

While the weather was on the cold side this week, UISZ students came back to class Monday with a desire to finish the year of the rabbit on a high note.  This week, secondary students came back to school after a constructive, instructive and sometimes emotional MUN weekend.

Best wishes for 2024 ! We hope this year brings you joy, success, and endless possibilities. As we embark on another week at our school, let us come together to celebrate the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. 

As we wrap up the semester, we want to highlight the incredible events that marked the last week at UISZ. It was a week filled with excitement and celebration as we approach the holiday season.

We are now 5 school days away from our much-awaited Winter break. 

We want to thank all our students-artists and their teachers for their involvement during last Thursday’s Festival of Arts, under the theme Tapestry of Creativity.

We want to start by thanking all parents who participated in the first celebration of the International Day of the Child, held last Monday.  Parents had the opportunity to see their children in action at school and also took advice from our expert in education: our teachers.
