At UISZ, we’re excited to introduce two new traditions that bring our school community closer together.

The first is School Spirit Days, fun-filled events designed to celebrate our shared pride and creativity. Each month, we highlight a different theme—and this month, we’re starting with Crazy Hair Day, where students, families, and staff are encouraged to show off their wildest, most imaginative hairstyles!

The second tradition is our monthly Student Awards, where we celebrate the IB Learner Profile. Each month, teachers focus on a specific Learner Profile attribute, and observe students who consistently demonstrate it in their actions. At the end of the month, each teacher selects a “Student of the Month” who is honored with a certificate of recognition during our PYP assembly. We love sharing these special moments with families, photos and stories are often featured in newsletters and on our school platforms so we can all celebrate together.

If your child is selected as Student of the Month, we will notify you in advance so you can mark the date and attend the recognition ceremony.
