I chose to study the DSE because it’s a unique international curriculum that allows students to answer in Chinese, which felt more natural and manageable for me. Compared to AP or A-Level, I found the DSE more straightforward and better suited to students who are strong in Chinese. It provides a solid path for university admissions, especially in Hong Kong.
The Talent Show at UISZ on March 27th was a captivating event that celebrated the diverse talents of our school community. From singers to bands, taekwondo, each performance showcased the creativity and skill of our students, faculty, and staff.
My name is Janet He, and I am a graduate of the UISZ DSE program for the Class of 2025. I am also a candidate for this year's Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) examination. I chose to take the HKDSE program because I hold a Hong Kong identity card, which allows me to apply to universities in Hong Kong through the JUPAS system. Compared to other international programs, the DSE provides me with a more direct and strategic pathway for further education, especially aimed at my goal of studying in Hong Kong.
