The Tuesday opening show featured the Year 12 rock band, THE GRADUATES, first seen at the IFOL and fresh off their command performance at last week’s High School Prom. It was time to ride ‘Shotgun’ again with George Ezra, and ‘Hold On’ with Justin Bieber.
Wednesday saw the return to the stage of the Year 11 rock band, JAGABEE, drawing the audience in with the balanced sounds of the Stephen Sanchez number, ‘Until I Found You’.
The final show on Thursday was all about Year 10, with THE HEYDAYS finishing off the UISG RockFest in style with a 3-song set, featuring covers from Day6, Yuuri and One Direction.
Budding UISG rock stars have had their interest piqued. We will see how many bands join in next year for the UISG RockFest. Stay tuned! Rock on!
