This year, some dedicated Grade 8 Theatre students chose to read Harry Potter’s Care for Magical Creatures class textbook, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” written by Newt Scamander (and JK Rowling). This is a new tradition that takes place during the last week of October, as we bring the Performing Arts into the Atrium space for a lunchtime event. Miss L. chose a script reading because it often relieves the anxiety of improvisational theatre sports and speaking or reading English for those who are new to the language.
This past Monday, November 3rd, the Utahloy International School community once again had the privilege of hosting a world-leading institution. We were delighted to welcome Ms. Zorian Wong from The University of Hong Kong (HKU), who engaged with our students and parents in insightful sessions at both our UISZ and UISG campuses.

This annual event stands as a powerful embodiment of our commitment to international-mindedness, bringing to life the UN’s ideals of peace, cooperation, and cross-cultural understanding through a day of shared celebration and learning.
