Co-Chairs

Ahaan Chakrabarty is the valedictorian from UISG’s Class of 2023, currently pursuing an engineering degree at the University of British Columbia. Having spent 14 years living across the world, Ahaan spent his final 3 years of school at Utahloy, where he captained teams to championships, led service initiatives, and performed music at local concerts.

Co-Chairs

Isabel Veit graduated from UISG in 2023 after studying there since 2009. She is from Brazil and China and is currently a first-year undergraduate student at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), majoring in Global Studies and Financial Actuarial Mathematics. During her time at Utahloy, Isabel was involved with multiple school clubs, including UtahFresh, TEDxYouth@UISG, Pinktober, HS Volleyball, Basketball, and Soccer teams.

Emily Yang is a UISG graduate from the Class of 2023 and is currently a candidate at the University of British Columbia pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in management. Throughout her 12 years at UISG, Emily immersed herself in the captivating community, engaging in activities spanning from academic functions like the Model United Nations to various competitive sports teams.

Helen Wong is a UISZ graduate of the class of 2021. After this summer, Helen’s reaching her final year at the University of Hong Kong studying Landscape Architecture, along with an exchange to Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Throughout her 12 years in UISZ, aside from taking on many leadership roles, she really enjoyed going on week without walls, football, and MUN.

Joshua George is a graduate of UISG’s 2022 cohort. He spent three years at Utahloy before graduating to attend the University of Warwick in the U.K. He is in his penultimate year of study for a bachelor’s degree in political science. Joshua received the UEF Special Recognition Award in his final year at UISG.

Flora Kim, a 2023 graduate of UISG, is now studying at Yonsei University in South Korea. During her time at UISG, she was an integral part of The Howl, HS Football team, musical bands, and other cultural clubs. Her diverse involvement reflects her dynamic spirit and commitment to excellence, laying a solid foundation as she pursues her academic and personal goals at Yonsei.

Johanne Deshoux is a graduate of UISG’s Class of 2022 and is currently in her third year at ESSEC Business School with an exchange at Berkeley University. Over her seven years at UISG, Johanne was engaged in extracurricular activities, including both the soccer and volleyball teams. She took part in the school’s student council as being student representative for Year 11 and Year 12.

Phoebe Ling is a graduate of the Class of 2024 from UISG. Over the course of her nine years at Utahloy, Phoebe was involved in multiple school musical bands and sports teams. Additionally, she took on leadership roles in music AOCs and was a member of the debate and feminism clubs. Phoebe’s commitment to her passions has shaped her academic and career aspirations, leading her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
