HKU Visit to UIS

This past Monday, November 3rd, the Utahloy International School community once again had the privilege of hosting a world-leading institution. We were delighted to welcome Ms. Zorian Wong 从 The University of Hong Kong (HKU), who engaged with our students and parents in insightful sessions at both our UISZ and UISG campuses.

We extend our sincere thanks to Ms. Wong for her time and for tailoring her presentations to the specific needs of each campus, providing our community with highly relevant and actionable guidance.

As a comprehensive university 与 10 faculties and 3 schools, it offers students immense flexibility. A key point highlighted was that all students will take a course in AI literacy, ensuring every graduate is prepared for the future.

3. From Curiosity to Concrete Plans

The events were highly interactive, with our students actively asking questions about application strategies, programme specifics, and campus life. Ms. Wong provided invaluable advice, including:

Personal Statement: Tell a convincing story that covers all your programme choices.
Interviews: Be engaging and contribute meaningfully in group settings.
Summer Programmes: An introduction to the HKU Academy for the Talented provided a pathway for students to gain an early university experience.

Following the talks, students eagerly collected brochures and continued their conversations with Ms. Wong. It was clear that they were not just leaving with more information, but with dreams and concrete plans for their future pathways.
