Dear UISG Community, 

I hope this message finds you well as we approach a well-deserved 4-day weekend in honor of China’s Labor Day. This is a wonderful opportunity to relax, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. Whether you’re traveling, exploring, or simply taking a break at home, I wish you all a joyful and refreshing long weekend.  

When we return on Wednesday, May 5, we’ll dive straight into a busy and exciting week. MYP eAssessments begin that day, marking an important milestone for our students. On Wednesday, our adventurousYear 8’s will hike up Baiyun Mountain as part of their PE unit.  

Next week also brings key events for parents, including an information session on CAS (Creativity, Activity, and Service) along with S (Service as Action) on May 8th. Sports enthusiasts can look forward to the MS Basketball GISSA Division Finals 关于 May 8 和 U11 GISES Badminton Invitational 关于 May 9. Additionally, don’t miss the Collaborative Science Presentation during IB Hour—another great opportunity for learning and engagement.  

Thank you for your continued energy and commitment as we move through this dynamic part of the school year. Enjoy the long weekend, and I look forward to seeing everyone back on campus, ready for another productive week ahead!

5月5日周三返校后，我们将迎来紧凑而精彩的一周：当日不仅是中学部电子评估开始的重要时刻，标志着学生们学业历程的关键节点；八年级学生也将开启白云山徒步之旅，这是他们体育课程的重要实践环节。 

下周更有多项家长活动值得期待：5月8日将举办CAS（创造、行动与服务）及S（服务即行动）专题说明会。体育赛事同样精彩纷呈——5月8日中学部篮球GISSA联赛总决赛、5月9日U11 GISES 羽毛球邀请赛将相继举行。此外，IB段的科学合作成果汇报会亦不容错过，这将是又一个启迪思维的交流平台。 

感谢您们在这学年关键阶段始终保持着饱满的热情与投入。请尽情享受假期，期待返校后与各位携手共赴又一段充满成效的校园时光！
