On April 22,2026, students from grades 5 and 11 gathered to hike and plant trees. This activity was in celebration of Earth Day as well as transitioning to a new milestone through the IB education programmes and curriculum.
I hope this message finds you well. As we head into the May Day long weekend, I wish you all a truly relaxing and restful break. Please remember that there will be no school on Friday, May 1, or Monday, May 4, due to the May Day holidays. School will resume on Tuesday, May 5, and we look forward to welcoming you back on that day.
We invite you to our Open Day on Saturday, May 16, 2026, to step into our world and discover the UISG difference.
Summer is approaching. A common question among parents is how to help children stay engaged and continue learning during the break, rather than letting those long weeks slip by without growth.
At UISG, summer is not a “gap” – it is a season to spark curiosity, build skills, and broaden horizons.
From June 22 to July 17, 2026, a four‑week summer program will be open to students aged 2–12, both on and off campus. Taught by the international faculty in a full English immersion setting, the program features small class sizes and four flexible themed weeks, allowing every child to find their own pace and passion.
This week has been truly bittersweet. We said a heartfelt farewell to our Grade 12 students during their final assembly and sendoff parade, as the whole school lined up along the lake to cheer them on. It was a powerful moment of unity and Wolf pride—celebrating their journey, their growth, and the bright futures ahead.
On Monday, April 20th, we hit the ground running by welcoming children’s author and former teacher all the way from the UK Matt Beighton to UISG for a full day of author talks and creative writing workshops.

A huge thank you to the parents who joined us for the Primary Open Morning and the Book Swap this week. It was a joy to see you in classrooms, sharing the love of reading. Your presence lifts our community.
we believe that transformative learning happens beyond the classroom, on mountainsides, along coastlines, and in the wild spaces where students discover their own resilience. But great adventures are built on a foundation of great safety.
