UISG Celebrates the dottiest day of the year.
“International Dot Day 2022”
Peter Reynolds book “The Dot” is all about making a mark and seeing where it takes you. Finding your voice and being brave enough to share and develop it.
For this year’s Dot Day celebration, the art department created a white space inspired by the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. All students from K to Year 6 participated in this interactive installation, transforming this blank white canvas into a colourful world of dots.
It was wonderful to see the excitement and curiosity of UISG students in making their mark on the empty space. Students were creative in their application, responding to white spaces as well as other student creations.

Celebrating artists from around the world who use dots within their work. Every artist from K to Year 6 participated in the annual dot exhibition. Students used a range of techniques of their choice to create a wide variety of dots. UISG was transformed into a colourful field of dots.
