At UISG, we take pride in our commitment to providing a holistic and inclusive education for all our students. The Primary EAL Programme is a pivotal element of this commitment, serving as a cohesive and comprehensive English language support initiative for our diverse student body.
Y5 were proud to share their hard work during their PYPx. This exhibition was the capstone project of their primary school career and involved them putting all the elements of the PYP together.
As we reflect on our exceptional PYP exhibition at our esteemed school UISG, we are filled with immense pride at the extraordinary achievements of our dedicated Year 6 students. Their unwavering commitment and tireless efforts throughout this transformative journey exemplify the very essence of our school community’s values.
In April, the Year 6 Utahloy Action Committee (UAC) students took a heartwarming initiative to support children battling cancer. Through their dedicated efforts, the students organized an ice-cream sale and successfully raised 2880RMB for the Gold Ribbon Special Children Parent Centre, an organization that provides crucial support to children fighting cancer.
We are excited to share some wonderful photos and videos. Our talented students from grade 3, grade 4, grade 5, and grade 6 at UISG showcased their musical talents during performances held on Mondays throughout January and February.
Our K2 children went on a sensory adventure at Pizza Marzano, where they were surrounded by different tastes, smells, sounds, and textures. The students’ use of all five senses brought to life the main idea that experiencing different things can help you understand yourself and others better.
With the wind of winter gradually easing and the footsteps of spring approaching, UISG also welcomed the annual K-Y2 CNY Music Festival last week. This is not only a grand stage for children to show their talents, but also a joyful chapter written by them. Here, each little actor perfectly presented the treasure of Chinese culture-Spring Festival with the most sincere and moving emotions and the most enthusiastic performance.
On January 18 We went to the AIO (Art Institute of the Orient) in Shamian Island. We had experience of seeing how Shamian Island had changed since migrants came into China to do business, hundreds of years ago. Whilst we were learning we also had fun activities to do.
On Thursday 21 December, our K and K1 Wolf Cubs, embarked on an exciting field trip to a local strawberry farm. The anticipation leading up to this day was palpable, and it did not disappoint.
