On the 20th March, 19 swimmers, 2 coaches and our head of school (head chaperone), boarded a flight to Shanghai to take part in the Junior Acamis swimming gala; a two day event featuring top swimmers from around the country.
Led by three passionate Year 11 students – Gabrielle Anne Florence Le Maréchal, Sophia JiHye Kim, and Kevin Kim – as part of their IB CAS project, this initiative has brought together over 20 students from Years 6 to 11. Under the guidance of art teacher Mr. Benny Kharismana, our young artists are turning the lower wall next to our main soccer field into a masterpiece!
The Pearl River Delta Battle of the Books competition is an exciting annual event that brings together students from various schools to showcase their reading prowess and teamwork skills. This year, our school proudly participated with three teams: two from the high school and one from the middle school. The competition, hosted by NCPA, provided a vibrant atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and a love for literature, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.
As our young swimmers head to Shanghai for the ACAMIS Jr. Swim meet, where they will compete alongside athletes from 21 other international schools across China, we wish them the best of luck and a stroke of good fortune, hoping their dedication and teamwork will shine through in this prestigious event.
