Last week, K3 students explored global cultural celebrations in our “Where We Are in Place and Time” unit. We welcomed parents who shared the story of Hangeul, the Korean alphabet, explaining its history and significance in an accessible way. Children practiced writing their names in Hangeul, boosting fine motor skills and personal connection. They also crafted traditional Korean “Gat” hats and enjoyed making and tasting gimbap. This hands-on session fostered cultural appreciation and showcased wonderful community partnership.
