On August 6th and 7th, three of UISG’s brightest took part in the debate portion of the nationwide 2022 Youth English Speech and Debate Talent Show. 

The final round of the competition included two days of scored debates with two prepared topics and several impromptu topics. Guangzheng (Y1), Ryan Laein (Y3), and Yoonjong (Y5) debated their way through progressive rounds of elimination, and Guangzheng and Ryan scored their way into the final round to compete for medals. Both landed in the Top 6 of the competition and received Bronze Medal Awards, while Yoonjong scored admirably with a 3rd Place Prize.
