CAS PARENT WORKSHOP

UISG hosted a dynamic and engaging CAS Parent Workshop, led by the CAS Coordinator, Ms Lee. Delivered in English, Chinese, and Korean.

The session welcomed our multilingual parent community and provided meaningful insights into the CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) programme within the IB Diploma.

The workshop explored the transition from MYP’s Service as Action (SA) to the DP CAS programme emphasising the student-led, experiential nature of CAS and its vital role in holistic education.

Parents gained a clear understanding of each strand—Creativity, Activity, and Service—through detailed examples of how UISG students engage with CAS in authentic and impactful ways.

To deepen their understanding, parents participated in a hands-on activity using storytelling cards,mirroring the reflective and imaginative process that students often use in CAS.

This interactive experience allowed parents to explore CAS principles firsthand and fostered meaningful discussion.

The session also addressed common myths about CAS, equipping parents with accurate knowledge to better support their children’s journeys.

UISG remains committed to building strong partnerships with families, and this workshop was a celebration of that collaboration in our international learning community.

UISG는 CAS 학부모 워크숍을 개최하였습니다. 이번 워크숍은 CAS 코디네이터인 Ms.Lee 선생님이 이끌었으며, 영어, 중국어, 한국어로 따로 진행되어 다국어를 사용하는 학부모 커뮤니티를 환영하고 CAS(창의성, 활동, 봉사) 프로그램에 대한 의미 있는 통찰을 제공하였습니다.
