EY Sports Day 2026:A Day of Joy and Teamwork

On June 4th, our Early Years students from UNC to K3 gathered for an exciting EY Sports Day! The Multi-Function Hall came alive as students proudly represented their four house teams—Tigers, Pandas, Warriors, and Dragons. From giant ball rolls and obstacle races to hula hoop relays, balloon transport, and dodgeball, every child brought tremendous energy and enthusiasm. What made the day truly special was the wonderful support from families. Parents cheered loudly, participated in parent-child games alongside their little ones, and created cherished memories together. Behind the scenes, our Grade 10 students demonstrated outstanding leadership, skillfully organizing games and running activities with patience and smiles. Their dedication was instrumental to the day’s success.

We extend heartfelt thanks to all parents and Grade 10 students for making EY Sports Day an unforgettable celebration of fun, teamwork, and community spirit.

Splash into Children’s Day

On Children’s Day, the children gathered around the clown, mimicking his moves and laughing together. Their cheers swept through everyone like a wave. Right after the clown performance, the water games began—popping water balloons by sitting on them, hooking rubber ducks, blowing colorful bubble dragons, transporting water through pipes, and water gun shooting. Teachers patiently guided each station, while others led small groups through the fun.

Everyone played with pure joy. Clothes got soaked, shoes filled with water, but their smiles shone brighter than the sun.
Children’s Day is not just for kids—it’s for all of us. See you again next June 1st!

Personal Inquiry Showcase : Young Learners Celebrating Their Passions

This week UISG Primary students tested out a new event – the Personal Inquiry Showcase. A vibrant celebration of curiosity, courage, and community learning! Grade 1–4 students took center stage—both literally and figuratively—to share the research projects and passions they’ve been exploring throughout the year. From carefully crafted displays to brave presentations on stage, each student demonstrated genuine enthusiasm for their chosen topics and the research journey they’d undertaken. The energy in the room was electric as peers asked thoughtful questions, made connections between projects, and discovered new interests through their classmates’ work.

What made the showcase truly special was the collaborative spirit that filled the event. Students weren’t just presenting to adults—they were learning from one another, with several particularly courageous presenters taking the stage to share their findings with the whole audience including some magic tricks! Their willingness to present publicly modeled confidence and resilience for their peers, reminding us all that sharing knowledge is worth the nervous butterflies. The Personal Inquiry Showcase was a powerful testament to what’s possible when we give young learners time, space, and encouragement to follow their passions and become researchers in their own right.

G10 MYP Completion Ceremony

G10 MYP Completion Ceremony
"A great ending point for our MYP journey” — “memorable” — “fulfilling” — “new start of life journey” — “bittersweet” — “accomplishment.” These are just some of the thoughts from our Grade 10 students as they reflected on their MYP Completion Ceremony.
The ceremony featured student performances in bands and art, truly embodying the Learner Profile. Teachers’ insightful speeches offered moments for reflection, followed by awards for Service, Personal Project, and UISG values. The evening ended with every G10 student receiving their MYP Completion Certificate.

It was both an ending and a blessing — a heartfelt send-off as they step into the mysterious, exciting journey of the DP.
