Now, here are the community highlights you won’t want to miss:
01. AUG 21 – UPTA ALL PARENTS MEETING /
The new school year starts with a conversation
between home and school
Founded in 2006, the Utahloy Parent Teacher Association (UPTA) is run by a team of parent representatives from a variety of nationalities, cultures, and language backgrounds. Each school year, the UPTA organizes four meetings between all parents and the UISG leadership team. The August 21 meeting is the first of the new school year—an opportunity for parents to hear directly from school leadership about curriculum plans and the vision for the year ahead. It’s a vital starting point for understanding the school’s direction, sharing ideas, and building connections with other families. All UISG parents and teachers are automatically members of the UPTA, and everyone is welcome to attend.

02. SEP 4 – WELCOME PICNIC & OPEN DAY /
The first greeting of the new school year
Lawns, music, picnic blankets—and the warmth of reconnecting with old friends while welcoming new faces. On this day, our campus comes alive again, and we fill it with good food, laughter, and a deep sense of belonging that makes UISG feel like home. Our music students and staff band will perform, and there will be fun games and food stalls for everyone. Whether you’re a new family or a returning one, this is the perfect way to start the year together.

A trip around the world in a single day
Our campus turns into a mini United Nations. Students, parents, and teachers proudly walk in traditional attire, representing their home countries. With country booths, international cuisine, and performances by each grade level, we celebrate the rich diversity that makes our community so unique. It’s a vibrant reminder that though we come from many places, we are all part of one global family.
