English is the medium language of instruction throughout the full IB continuum at UISZ, and it is also studied as a language for native and near native communicators as well as language acquisition learners. Native and other high advanced English communicators take the English Language and Literature course, exploring the English language and English literature equally. Other learners studying English Language Acquisition will engage in leveled classes that foster growth in speaking, reading and listening, and writing skills. English courses are taught with a holistic approach, are inquiry based and student centered, covering a balanced range of approaches to learning that culminate into real opportunities for service and action.
英语是广州增城誉德莱外籍人员子女学校整个IB课程的教学语言，也是拥有英语母语水平、近母语水平及英语非母语的学生均需学习的语言。母语水平和其他英语程度高的学生，须修读英语语言及文学课程，平衡地探索英语语言和英语文学。其他修读英语语言习得的学生将参與分班教學，加強读、写、听、说的技能。英语课程采用整体教学法，以探究为基础，以学生为中心，均衡地教授各类学习方法，以促成真正的服务和实践机会。
영어는 UISZ의 IB 전반에서 사용하는 교육 언어이며, 언어 습득 학습자뿐 아니라 원어민 및 원어민에 가까운 능숙한 소통자를 위해 영어 수업을 제공합니다. 원어민 및 기타 고급 영어 소통자는 영어에 대한 언어 및 문학 과정을 수강하여 영어를 언어적, 문학적으로 탐구합니다. 영어 습득을 공부하는 학습자는 말하기, 읽기, 듣기, 쓰기 능력의 발달을 촉진하는 레벨 수업에 참여합니다. 영어 과정은 종합적 접근 방식을 통해 탐구 기반 학생 중심으로 진행하며 균형 잡힌 학습 방식에 따라 영어로 자원 봉사하거나 활동할 수 있는 기회를 실질적으로 제공합니다.

Learners have three lessons each week for an English course except for DP High Level classes.

小学国际文凭课程

MYP
Learners will complete various formative assessments, some which serve as diagnostic indicators of their needs and capabilities, and others which build or check the unit concepts and objectives. At the end of each unit, learners will complete a summative assessment to demonstrate their understanding of the unit concepts. Students in Y10 also need to join the eAssessment for English courses.
中学国际文凭课程
学生将须完成各种形成性评估。其中的一些评估将展现学生的学习需求及能力，，另一些评估则有助于他们形成或检验单元的概念和目标。每个单元结束时，学生将须完成总结性评估，以展示他们对单元概念的理解。10年级的学生也需要参加英语课程的在线评估。
MYP
학습자는 다양한 형성 평가를 치릅니다. 학생의 필요와 능력에 대한 진단 지표 역할을 하는 한편, 단원의 개념과 목표에 따라 학생의 이해도를 확인합니다. 각 단원이 끝나면 학습자는 단원의 개념을 이해했음을 증명하기 위해 종합 평가를 받아야 합니다. Y10 학생은 영어 과정 e-평가에도 참여해야 합니다.
DP
Assessment will be set in external and internal two ways after two years’ study. Past papers are always used throughout these two years to help students to develop a deeper understanding and skills of the final assessment.
大学预科国际文凭课程
经过两年的学习，学生将接受外部和内部两种方式的评估。我们会在这两年中使用历年真题，帮助学生加深对期末评估的理解，以及训练其答题技巧。
DP
2년 동안 공부한 후 두 가지 방식(교내 및 교외)으로 평가합니다. 과거 논문을 이 2년이라는 기간 동안 항상 참고할 수 있어 학생이 최종 평가를 더 깊이 이해하고 실력을 향상하는 데 도움이 됩니다.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AND SCHOOL EVENTS
UISZ offers co-curricular activities such as English Creative Writing for students to explore and devote more time to other fun and exciting areas of English. Furthermore, in UISZ we celebrate international holidays and organize fun activities from English speaking countries around the world.

Field Trip
Field Trips and activities off campus are part of the educational program, supporting the learning in the IB programs. Such activities provide an extra dimension to classroom learning.
