We are on to the last stretch of this successful academic year. In a few weeks, our seniors will go for their study break before sitting for their IB exams in May. We certainly wish them the best!
这周，我们迎来了本学年的最终阶段。再过两周就到五月，我们高年级的同学们可以在IB考试前稍作休息。祝他们顺利！
어느덧 올해 학년도 막바지에 접어들었습니다. 몇 주 후면 졸업반 학생들은 5월에 있을 IB 시험을 치르기 앞서 자율 학습을 위한 방학을 맞이하게 됩니다. 모든 학생들이 최선을 다하길 응원하겠습니다!
Looking ahead, in two weeks, our year 9 students actively preparing our Eco Ed Day. We thank all families in advance in the preparation of the event, and hope to see everyone in large numbers.

PYP 国际文凭小学课程
Year 4 students had an outstanding display of transdisciplinary learning today with their mini-exhibition! They designed sustainable homes, being mindful of their choices and their impact on the environment. Then they were able to share and explain their learning to other Primary students and teachers to gather feedback.
今天，四年级学生通过他们的迷你展览展示了跨学科学习的精彩表现！他们设计了可持续发展的住宅，以此来展示他们的选择及其对环境的影响。之后，他们能够向其他小学生和老师分享以及讲解他们的学习情况，以此来收集反馈。
Year 4 학생들은 오늘 미니 전시회를 통해 교과통합 학습을 훌륭하게 보여주었습니다! 학생들은 그들의 선택과 그것이 환경에 미치는 영향을 염두에 두고 지속 가능한 집을 설계했습니다. 이어서 학생들은 다른 초등학교 학생들과 교사들에게 자신들이 배운 것을 공유하고 설명하며 피드백을 받을 수 있었습니다.
MYP 国际文凭中学课程
Year 7 is working on an interdisciplinary Unit involving Design Technology and Mathematics. Students are having an introduction to JAVA programming using geometry and geometric shapes in a coding environment called Processing. Students are learning geometry in both a 1-quadrant (+,+) and a 4-quadrant plane. Students are learning the practical application of theories learned in Math class. Studies show that hands-on activities help make Math concepts relevant and easier to understand and apply.
在这周，七年级的同学们正在探索一门涉及设计技术和数学的跨学科单元。大家运用了几何知识和一些几何图形，在一个名为“Processing”的编码环境中探索JAVA编程。同学们还学习了“一象限 (+,+) ”和“四象限平面”的几何学，在这个过程中，同学们体验了数学课上所学理论的实际应用。研究表明，实践活动赋予赋予数学概念关联性，使之更容易理解和应用。

DP 国际文凭大学预科课程
Year 11 students are studying topic 4 “Properties of materials” and are being taught the requirement for their Internal Assessment for next year. In practical learning, students are taking computers apart to learn about systems and the different technologies involved in them.
11年级的同学们正在学习课题四—— 材料的特性，并且开始认识下学年的内部评估要求。在最近的实践学习中，同学们正在“解剖”电脑，在这个过程中探讨电脑系统及其涉及的各种技术。
11학년 학생들은 4단원 “재료의 특성”을 공부하며 내년도 내부 평가에 필요한 내용을 학습하고 있습니다. 실기 수업에서는 컴퓨터를 분해하며 시스템과 관련된 다양한 기술에 대해 배우고 있습니다.
Year 12 students are finishing their internal assessments and getting ready for revision in preparation for their DP exams.
12年级的同学们即将完成他们的内部评估，同时为DP考试准备而积极复习中。

HKDSE 香港中学文凭课程
In the ‘unit of fossil fuels and carbon compounds’, we have learnt that carbon compounds play an important role in industry and in daily life. They are found in all living things. The diversity of carbon compounds contributes to the diversity of life. The chemistry of carbon compounds is so important that it forms a separate branch of the subject called organic chemistry. Our students are working toward gaining a more complete understanding of the chemistry of carbon compounds by making concept map of inter-conversions of carbon compounds.
在“化石燃料和碳化合物”这一单元中，我们学习了碳化合物在工业和日常生活中的重要性。所有生物都含有碳化合物，碳化合物的多样性是导致生物多样性的重要原因。由于碳化合物的化学知识如此重要，以至于化学家们将这些知识划分为一个独立的范畴，谓之——有机化学。在课上，同学们通过制作碳化合物的互换概念图来更全面地了解碳化合物的化学性质。
‘화석 연료와 탄소 화합물의 기본 단위’에서는 탄소 화합물이 산업과 일상 생활에서 중요한 역할을 한다는 것을 배웠습니다. 탄소 화합물은 모든 생명체에서 발견됩니다. 탄소 화합물의 다양성은 생명의 다양성에 기여합니다. 탄소 화합물의 화학은 유기 화학이라는 과목의 별도 영역을 형성할 정도로 매우 중요합니다. 우리 학생들은 탄소 화합물의 상호 변환에 대한 개념도를 만들어 탄소 화합물의 화학을 보다 완벽하게 이해하기 위해 노력하고 있습니다.
