One continuous IB journey, from Early Years to Grade 12
UISG is Guangzhou’s oldest IB Continuum school. Our IB journey began in 2002, and today we are authorized to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP).
Through the IB, students learn to be active, compassionate, lifelong learners with the skills, knowledge and intercultural understanding to help create a better world. As an IB World School, we are part of a global community of schools committed to high-quality, challenging international education, which helps us attract exceptional educators.
MOTHER TONGUE & LANGUAGES
Keep your child connected to home
English is our main language of instruction, and we value each child’s mother tongue as part of their identity and culture. Mother tongue classes run within the school day: Chinese, Korean, Japanese, German and French from K2 to Grade 6, with Spanish added from Grade 7.
A strong mother tongue supports learning in every subject, and it shows in our results: 80% of the Class of 2026 earned a bilingual IB Diploma.

Being a UISG family means joining a worldwide community of students, parents, teachers and alumni. From your first visit, we make sure you feel welcome and supported.
The Utahloy Parent Teacher Association (UPTA) helps new families settle in through parent language groups and grade-level groups, and events like the UPTA Welcome Picnic and the International Festival of Light bring everyone together. Parents are invited to take part in their child’s learning and share feedback on our programs.
