Once again, the Languages team hosted a special assembly in primary school. The Mother Tongue Assembly, a cherished tradition at UISG, is an integral part of our IB-inspired educational approach. Students from Year 1 to Year 5 gathered to celebrate the richness and beauty of their native languages, creating a joyful and inclusive atmosphere.
Since its establishment in September 2023, Guangzhou Bayer 04 Leverkusen Football Academy has been a benchmark for cultivating outstanding football talents and young athletes. Initially, the academy only offered training sessions once a week.
Tuesday 15 October was an afternoon full of live music. With the Admin Hall having hosted the DP Music Recital before lunch, after lunch students from the Guangzhou University School of Music and Dance took the stage.
The recent Southern Delta Region Conference (SDRC) tournament showcased the impressive talents of our Middle School football teams. Over three days of intense competition, the boys’ team secured 3rd place, while the girls’ team finished strong at 5th place.
Nurturing imagination and creativity from the earliest ages is vital for a child’s holistic development. That is why we were thrilled to dive into the beloved children’s book “Not a Box” with our K1 students.
Early Years K and K1 Sprinkler Dance PartyWhen the temperatures really started to soar, the wolf cubs dashed through the cool spray of the sprinkler, giggling and dancing as they felt the refreshing water. The Water play kept the wolf cubs’ class cool, calm, and collected, even on the hottest summer days !

We are excited to share some wonderful photos and videos. Our talented students from grade 3, grade 4, grade 5, and grade 6 at UISG showcased their musical talents during performances held on Mondays throughout January and February.
In year 2 we learned about the journey of food in UOI. We took a field trip to Huiling farm and to the Kewpie factory. In the end, students shared some of their learning. Below are two videos, a story written by a student and pictures of the factory visit.
