Dear UISG Community,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year at UISG! I am thrilled to be back for another year leading this incredible community. As the Utahloy Education Foundation celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, I find myself reflecting on just how far we have come. Since 1998, UISG has been a pioneer of international education in Guangzhou, becoming the city’s first IB World School, and that pioneering spirit continues to define who we are today.

The past two years have been transformative. We have grown stronger, more resilient, and more ambitious than ever. This year, we are channeling that energy into exciting new initiatives. Across our campus, you will see enhanced learning spaces, upgraded technology, and improved environments designed to spark creativity and collaboration. We are also rolling out program enhancements across our academic and co-curricular offerings, ensuring that every student receives an education that is rigorous, relevant, and truly world-class. This is our moment to honor almost thirty years of excellence while setting a bold new standard for international education in Guangzhou.

None of this would be possible without our incredible UISG Community. I am continually inspired by our dedicated faculty, who bring the world into their classrooms every day. Our support staff work tirelessly behind the scenes. Our students, representing over 40 nationalities, create a vibrant mosaic of cultures and perspectives. Their achievements, and their acceptances to top universities around the world, fill me with pride. And our parents, whose partnership I deeply value, are essential to everything we do.

What makes UISG truly special is the powerful synergy between our challenging IB curriculum and our deeply supportive, inclusive community. Every day, I see students engaging with ideas that matter, asking big questions, and developing not just academic mastery but also the character, resilience, and cultural fluency to thrive anywhere in the world.
